Counseling

The mission of the New Caney High School counseling department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program in the areas of academic, career and social development. Together with educators, parents/guardians, the community and other stakeholders, we will ensure that our students have access to the knowledge and resources that they need to become successful, thoughtful and productive members of a global community.

School counselors must implement a comprehensive school counseling program in accordance with state law and guidelines. Information about counseling can be found in the Student Code of Conduct & Handbook on page 45.  Parents can choose each school year to remove their child from the services provided under this program.  You can remove your child for the 2025-2026 school year by emailing your request to remove your child from counseling services to your child's counselor.
