Principal's Message

Welcome to New Caney High School!
New Caney is a four-year comprehensive high school located 30 miles north of Houston. Founded in 1938, New Caney High School is the focal point of our community and this year we will celebrate 75 years of Eagle Pride with an enrollment of 1500 students.  As many of you have noticed, our school is in the process of undergoing renovations which are scheduled to be completed by August 2014.  NCHS is receiving upgrades including a secure entrance, a dance facility, a JROTC facility, a newly designed entrance to the auditorium, remodeled restrooms, and updated air conditioner equipment.  We are very excited about the improvements to our building; however, bricks and mortar are not what makes a great school, it is the people in it.  The staff at NCHS is friendly, hardworking, and dedicated to the success of our students.

On a more personal note, I have two daughters who attend New Caney ISD; one of which I am proud to say is a senior at NCHS.   As I mark my 10th year as an administrator at New Caney High School, it is a privilege to continue to serve the students who will walk through the doors.  I feel that NCHS is a second home and it is my goal to ensure that all New Caney High School students get involved and feel a similar sense of well-being, pride, and ownership in our great school.  Go Eagles!
